Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the RegoVerify website and vehicle history report services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

RegoVerify is operated in Australia. These Terms are governed by Australian law. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to RegoVerify. References to "you" or "your" refer to the user of the Service.

2. Service Description

RegoVerify provides vehicle history reports that aggregate data from third-party sources including the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR), the National Exchange of Vehicle and Driver Information System (NEVDIS), and market valuation providers. Our reports may include information about security interests, stolen vehicle status, write-off history, registration details, and estimated market values.

We offer two report tiers: a Quick Check covering essential data points, and a Full Report that additionally includes market valuations, safety recall data, and a downloadable PDF certificate.

3. Pricing

Prices for our reports are displayed at the time of purchase and are in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect reports already purchased.

Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

4. Data Accuracy

This report is based on information obtained from third-party sources including NEVDIS and PPSR. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the information provided. You should always conduct your own due diligence before purchasing a vehicle.

Information accuracy depends on data provided by state and territory road authorities, police agencies, insurance companies, and other third-party contributors. There may be delays between when events occur and when information is updated in these systems.

PPSR information is provided by the Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) and is current only as at the date and time of the search. A PPSR search using a vehicle registration number may not return all registrations — different results may be obtained by searching with a VIN or chassis number. This information is supplied without warranty of any kind regarding accuracy or completeness.

5. Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, RegoVerify excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from, or in connection with, the use of our Service. This includes, but is not limited to, indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, and loss of data.

This report is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for assessing the value of the information provided and for any decisions you make based on this report. We do not guarantee that the vehicle is free from defects, encumbrances, or other issues not covered by this report.

Our reports are intended as a guide only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any vehicle purchasing decision. We recommend that you also arrange an independent mechanical inspection before purchasing any vehicle.

6. Refund Policy

If we are unable to return results for a valid vehicle registration, we will provide a full refund. Refunds are not available for completed reports, as the data has already been sourced from third-party providers on your behalf and cannot be returned.

Refund requests should be directed to our support team within 30 days of purchase. All refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the RegoVerify website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of RegoVerify or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

You may use the reports generated by the Service for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any disputes arising under these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
